For experienced advisers
Adviser Accelerator – Classroom or Distance Learning

Adviser Accelerator

Available now. For experienced and practicing advisers who would like the opportunity to update their skills and knowledge through guided tuition, plus an opportunity to network with their fellow advisers in the community.

The Adviser Accelerator course is designed to get students through the course in the best, most efficient time possible. To assist in this, the course is offered in two different versions – Adviser Accelerator (Distance Learning only), and Adviser Accelerator (Classroom). To decide which version is best for you, see Classroom Learning and Distance Learning. To find out more about the shape of the courses, read the section below.

Adviser Accelerator (Classroom)

9 classroom days • Achievement-driven assessments • Learn from industry experts

We recommend the Classroom version for all advisers looking to gain self-confidence and business credibility. It is also appropriate for those who work in the industry, but are not necessarily advisers per se.

Learning will be via a combination of pre-module reading materials, 3 x 3-day classroom modules, followed by assignment submissions for assessment in between modules. Assessments are as close to real life business practice as possible. There is no rote learning, testing from memory or ‘against the clock’ testing. If you don’t pass the first time, you get two more chances and our mentors will help you every step of the way.

The benefit of classroom learning with expert tutors cannot be understated. Our trainers, mentors and assessors are drawn from the industry. They are experienced and there to make your studies relevant, practical and career-driven. To help you decide, see Classroom Learning.

Adviser Accelerator (Distance Learning only)

No classrooms • Personal web page • Learn at your own pace

This specially developed Distance Learning programme is for advisers who want to spend as little time away from their business as possible. There is no classroom time, so it is most appropriate to senior financial advisers who have some familiarity with the subjects already and can study and work without the guidance of a tutor. It is not recommended for people new to the industry, or people who work in the industry who are not advisers.

The Distance Learning programme provides you with your own personal web account page where you download your course work and manage your study time.

A realistic timeframe to complete your Level 5 studies via Distance Learning is between 3-12 months, depending on your opportunity to complete the practical assignments.

For more information see Distance Learning.
